Philips Hue Dimmer switch mounts are designed specifically for UK light switches. The Hue remote is securely held in place by a magnet, allowing it to be easily removed for access to the switch behind. This design accommodates both single and double Hue remotes, as well as single, double, and triple gang light switches. To mount the Neodymium magnets, a small dab of glue is used, rather than embedding them inside during printing. This approach simplifies the process while still providing reliable magnetic retention. Printing with thicker walls can significantly reduce print times by minimizing the need for infill in thinner sections. However, this may increase warping risks. Experimenting with different wall thicknesses is recommended to find a balance that suits your needs. The screws are recessed deeply into the mount, allowing users to reuse the existing screws typically found on most light switches.
