This lets you install the Phillips Hue dimmer switch plate on top of your current light switch by replacing the existing switch cover plate. Designed specifically for US-style light switches, it's a great solution to upgrade your home's lighting system without modifying the hardwired switch. This adapter is not suitable for paddle switches, however. I experimented with creating a custom switch cover that didn't require the default plate from the Hue switch, but that approach was cumbersome and unnecessary. By attaching the standard Hue plate to a 3D printed switch plate, you can achieve a cleaner, more streamlined look.
