Unfortunately, the original Philips Hue dimmer holder has a staggering 53mm gap between its holes, a mismatch that spells trouble for European homeowners who rely on the standard 60mm hole distance found in most European light switches. To bridge this discrepancy, I designed an ingenious adapter plate that enables seamless mounting of a Hue dimmer holder onto a conventional German Hohlwanddose or Unterputzdose light switch case.
