I purchased the Philips Christmas Cool White LED Snowflake Motion Projector to cast snowflakes in my family room. Although the projector claims to be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it comes with a stake for mounting - completely inadequate for indoor installation. All I required was a tripod, something to enable the projector to stand upright on its own. Here is the solution. It features just one hole at the top - not threaded - where the mounting screw would normally be inserted into the stake. If you decide this will be a long-term fix, apply some glue; otherwise, it should stay securely in place.
