Philips Eleva xray table end cap

Philips Eleva xray table end cap

This is an end cap for the x-ray table from a Philips Eleva X-ray system, boasting a sturdy post at its center that's easily prone to breakage if snagged. Replacing this part directly from the manufacturer comes with a hefty price tag of around $250, but it also includes an extra cap for the other side, which might go unused. I managed to print this end cap for less than 25 cents and it has outlasted the original, making it a cost-effective solution. The printing details include: Rafts: None, Supports: None, Resolution: 100 microns, Infill: 20%. This part was printed in PLA at 205 degrees Celsius with a 20% infill rate. I designed this end cap using digital vernier calipers to accurately measure the original part and then created a precise model in FreeCAD, which I exported as an STL file.
