Philips in their infinite wisdom didn't produce the inner shade/diffuser of these outdoor lights in a UV resistant material, and as such after 2 or 3 years of sunlight, they go brittle and crack, letting water into the fitting and shorting your light. After many attempts to get a replacement parts for the lights from Philips, I decided to make my own using the original as a template. My replacement can be printed in a single piece. You can use vase mode if you prefer a more translucent appearance. Make sure your printer is well calibrated.
