A custom wall mount for the Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush eliminates the need for drilling holes into delicate plates, making it an ideal solution. Utilizing silicon to attach the stand to the plates ensures a strong hold without causing damage. The unique network of channels within the mount's body enables the silicon to bond strongly with the printed PLA body. Having previously created a similar wall mount for Oral B, I can attest that it was incredibly challenging to remove - thus, there is zero chance this mount will unglue and fall accidentally. Before adhering the mount to the ceramic plates, it's essential to clean the surface with alcohol. Apply an even layer of silicon, then gently press the mount until the silicon oozes out from the side holes. Remove any excess silicon using a cloth with soap and allow the mount to set for several hours with paper tape. Once the silicon has settled, remove the paper tape and insert the charger, which should fit snugly into place. Ideally, the silicon color should match the gap between the plates for a seamless appearance. If desired, transparent silicon can be used to preserve the visibility of the side channels in the base. The filament color should complement the plates for an aesthetically pleasing finish. To achieve optimal 3D printing results, I recommend placing the hole for the charger on the 3D printer plate - this may require additional filament for supports, but yields a superior surface finish.
