My colleague encountered an issue when he pressed the eject button and nothing happened - the tray wouldn't open. He asked for help, and I jumped in without fully understanding how many screws needed to be removed. It turned out that a gear wheel problem was causing the issue with his Phillips 950 CD player. I learned this after some research. In the end, I fixed the problem by designing a new gear wheel - one that was stronger than the original. My colleague owes me one now.
