The design remains a work in progress, as the pins joining the sides together have become slightly misaligned after flipping one side to correct map orientation. However, this is an easy fix, so I've chosen to publish it anyway. A corrected version will be uploaded soon. It's worth noting that the holes on the female side of the assembly for the pins are 5mm in diameter, while the pins themselves are 4mm thick. This deliberate design choice was made to simplify the assembly process. If friction fitting proves too loose, glue can be used as an alternative solution.
