The Forum. The Forum served as the administrative hub of Philippi in Roman times. It is a sprawling complex of public structures carefully arranged around a spacious central square. The most striking buildings are the North-East temple and the North-West temple, their grandeur commanding attention. Philippi Museum. A scale model crafted by French archaeologists working under the auspices of the École française d'Athènes provides valuable insight into the site's layout.
