You'll need to drill out the original holes for the push pins using a drill. The design I'm currently working with works much better. I printed the original without reading the comments, which was a waste of time. The rollers spun freely without any load on them, and that was a great idea, but the overall design was poor. I liked the brackets from the other design and didn't want to waste anything. I also printed another spool holder for the MK2, but I don't like how the spool hangs off the frame. I used the roller, bolt, nut, and washer from that design and drilled out the holes in the bracket to fit. The thing spins smoothly now. I haven't run a spool out yet on this stand to see how it performs. There's so little friction holding it back, I don't think it will be an issue, but I'll find out later. I should note that the bearings are 608s. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15 Infill: 20% Post-Printing: Just had to drill through the brackets. Drilling through a 20% infill part isn't pretty, but once assembled, it was fine. A better plan would be to redo the brackets to accept the hex bolt. How I Designed This: I didn't just take two designs and drill four holes.
