thingiverse
My wife misplaced her 4-in-one meditool at work, where she relies on it to crack open bottle seals. Having discovered a suitable online replacement was available only in bulk purchases, I took on the task of creating one myself. Using Google SketchUp as my design tool, I exported my project to STL format. At this stage, the 3-in-one device successfully functions with a seal opener, a hook for plucking cotton strands, and a flat edge suitable for counting pills. The only feature missing from the original model is the pill tweezer blades. Nonetheless, it still works efficiently. You can also access this project on Shapeways if you'd like to make your own purchase! Print Settings: Rafts aren't necessary Supports should be enabled Resolution shouldn't impact functionality, but 0.3 millimeters will do just fine A 50 percent infill will keep the tool flexible Note: I printed with teeth facing upwards, which requires supports in place; additionally, I used super glue to reinforce two crucial points and another on where the walls meet. The result has led me to manually thin out each tooth by using needle nose pliers to bend them in a slightly concave manner and heat-treating them carefully. Post-printing tips
