I'm drawing this picture out of the back of my head where all ideas live when they aren't anywhere else. You can't take an idea out of the back of your head unless you have a picture to help it along and pictures help everything along that has been thought about long enough to be put into words, even poetry which isn't usually as well behaved as regular language.
