Phantom Shot
thingiverse
I've created a unique mask for this Halloween inspired by classic films, but with a personal twist. It's not a horror mask, yet it will still send chills down your spine when you see it. The print consists of three parts: two halves of the mask and the goggles. To complete this mask, all you'll need are some elastic bands, plexiglass, and glue. UPDATE To bring this character to life, I wanted to add more details about him. What's his backstory? What type of gun does he use? Does he wear a specific helmet? So, I've added The Phantom Shot Gun to the costume, and an in-progress helmet update is coming soon. You can print the gun from various materials, such as bronze fill for some parts, and assemble it with glue. For extra durability, consider epoxy casting. I've successfully printed the first part of the mask and am now working on post-processing the piece. I hope you'll enjoy this design. Thanks. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Resolution: 100 microns Infill: 100% Post-Printing After printing, I sanded the parts and applied a filler primer. After another sanding session, I applied two coats of black spray paint. If desired, add a clear coat for a glossy finish.
