Phantom Handle

Phantom Handle

I gave the handle a fresh new look by modifying it just a bit. I spun it around so it prints with the right side facing up, which makes all the difference. To keep it steady, I added a thin 0.25mm brim that does its job well. I also added supports at each end to secure those tiny tabs in place - they need to be carefully trimmed off after printing. Cutting down on filament usage was my next move, so I added three holes right in the middle of it. And let's just say, it looks amazing now. Feeling adventurous, I attached a GoPro mount to the front end for no particular reason - maybe just because I could! Printing-wise, I recommend filling the ends at 25% and the handle itself at 10%. While tweaking the design, I decided to remove those two little blocks that were part of the original handle. Locks for the tabs sounded like a great idea, but unfortunately, my dimensions were way off, so they're gone now.
