Phanteks Evolv ITX Front Spacer Pins (Airflow fix)
thingiverse
The Spacer Pins dramatically shift the front panel of the Phanteks Evolv ITX case, creating an incredibly effective airflow boost. Originally, the front air intake was severely restricting hardware performance. A bonus feature included in this design is a longer bracket for the bottom light strip LED, allowing for more flexibility and visual customization. Key Information: The weak link in the Spacer Pins system is the connection between the bottom hex part and the extender block. To improve stability, print with 100% infill or try printing the pins horizontally. Installation Instructions: First, locate the metal sheet on the front plate. You'll need to bend the metal tabs on the back upwards to release the metal. Once you've removed it, you can access the four screws holding the original pins in place. Remove these screws and replace them with the extended printed pins provided. Next, carefully remove the LED from its original holder and route it through the new bracket. The extended bracket will slide over the old one, covering any gaps in the fan filter. Finally, use black electronics tape or a similar material to cover the back of the LED and reduce light spill.
