CMNH 2502, Phacops rana crassituberculata Stumm, 1953 specimen originates from Middle Devonian (Givetian) time period. Rock formation: Silica Shale of Traverse Group. Discovery location: Sylvania, Lucas Co., OH. This trilobite is approximately 9.8 cm long and represents one of two Phacops subspecies found in the Silica Shale, the other being P. r. milleri Stewart, 1927.
