PG35L Micro Extruder V3 - For J-Head

thingiverse

This new TrinityLabs micro-extruder body alternative, termed Version 3, features an integrated bearing to combat idler tension, eliminating the need for external bearings. Strengthened and equipped with M3 nut slots that don't pierce through the entire body, this version also includes a snap-in slot for J-Head hot ends, borrowing from scottmayson's idea. Designed for the eMinebea PG35L-048-USC0 motor, kits and printed parts can be procured at www.ultibots.com, with Alibre PE source files included. The idler requires M3-40 bolts and M4-12 bolts to secure it onto the x-carriage; TrinityLabs vitamins are compatible otherwise. Support layers on the idler and body must be removed and drilled out. This extruder works well with AlephObjects Supa-Flat X-Carriage, found at thingiverse.com/thing:10646. The bearing holders' files are http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15205, the last one on the download list, specifically SDP_bearing_mount_for_y_axis__on_side_with_square_ends_and_fixed_holes_by_Simon.stl. The 30mm idler nut trap version with widened internal bearing cavity and eMinebea motor nut traps was added on 09/08/12, followed by the 1.75 filament versions on 09/12/12.
