Pflute, soprano¸, tapered bore
thingiverse
This flute, sized like a soprano, features recorder-style fingering for cross-finger chromatic scale access. Composed of three sliding parts, it boasts an in-tune bore shape and hole parameters designed with "demakein" package. The angles of the holes ensure comfortable spacing. Note that this flute has a complex fingering system; if you prefer simplicity like a fife, opt for another model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:38865). Thanks to John Boshua's impressive ABS print, and I added decorative rings post-printing. Print height is 113.5mm, with joint clearance at 0.35mm, requiring a tight seal (blue teflon plumbing tape suggested). For fingering guidance, view "pflute-fingering.pdf". You can customize the design using "demakein," altering key, bore shape, or joint clearance. It also supports CNC wood-milling. For Python programmers, demakein is extensible for other wind instruments' designs. Expect more built-in options in future updates.
