The PetSafe Remote Spray Trainer is engineered to facilitate dog training with a sudden burst of spray. Since lengthy canine hair can hinder the spray's effectiveness, the user manual advises trimming the hair around the collar region. However, many dog owners are reluctant to trim their pet's hair, particularly if it's a show dog. Therefore, I created an extension that can be easily attached (without compromising the product) to the collar module. This add-on keeps the dog's hair away from the spray path, eliminating the need for trimming. As a result, both the dog and owner enjoy a more convenient training experience.
