Petrol Lamp with Electric Igniter

The lamp originated in Germany circa 1950. By that era, advancements in battery technology enabled the integration of batteries into mine lamps. Traditional firestone igniters used by miners were gradually replaced with electric igniters powered by a rechargeable battery. A distinctive feature of this particular lamp is its single mesh cap. In subsequent iterations of this design, an additional mesh cap was added to enhance overall durability.
