Petroglyph Rock

This massive rock plummeted down the hill from a precipice above, torn loose by unseen forces that had worn away the top of this boulder and a section of the cliff where it was anchored. It appears that this event could have been triggered by an iron meteor's airburst or impact. Scattered across its surface are numerous holes that resemble high-velocity impacts from tiny particles, alongside baked deposits that suggest fusion. The area is teeming with magnetic dust and small crystals that exhibit magnetism. A comet-like shape is etched into one face beneath arches typically associated with the sky. Vertical etchings radiate lines like a meteor breaking apart. This event may have caught the attention of local inhabitants for more than 11,000 years, as other panels in the region depict Mastodons. The deep-cut curved style is characteristic of early work that demanded considerable time and effort. The event is also depicted on nearby panels.\nCreated from 261 images in 3 hours, 10 minutes, 36 seconds.
