Human remains discovered at Petroglyph H21, Khatm Al Melaha, Kalba, Sharjah, UAE feature single Syrian Wild Ass likely dating back to Neolithic or earlier times. [Fossati 2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)].\nLocated on Oman Sea coast near Kalba in Sharjah, UAE, Khatm Al Melaha is a major archaeological site boasting one of the largest collections of rock art in the UAE.\nA total of 175 stones bearing petroglyphs were documented and nearly 400 distinct motifs identified. Each stone with glyphs assigned ID number and GPS coordinate. In one day, teams captured 25455 terrestrial photographs, 5244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 precise GPS points (+/-1cm).\nPetroglyphs deciphered using Radiance Scaling in Meshlab, materials lighting in Substance Painter, and varying conditions on Sketchfab. Some carvings remained invisible until viewed under these techniques. Drawings created only when a line could be discerned using one of these methods.\nReality Capture technology employed
