Human: Natural Version. Petroglyph G9 is located at Khatm Al Melaha in Kalba, Sharjah. It features stylized anthropomorphic designs typical of Neolithic or earlier art forms found throughout southern Arabia, Oman, and the UAE as described by Fossati [2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)]. More than 175 stones bearing petroglyphs were documented and nearly 400 distinct motifs were identified. Each rock with a glyph was assigned an ID number and a GPS coordinate. In one day, over 25,455 terrestrial photographs, 5,244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 precise GPS points (with an accuracy of +/- 1cm) were captured as part of the Reality Capture project.
