Human: Natural Version with Paint. Petroglyph G3 Khatm Al Melaha, Kalba, Sharjah, is an early work of abstract design featuring an animal, likely created during the Neolithic period or earlier. This style of art is characteristic of southern Arabia, Oman, and the UAE, as documented in Fossati's 2019 book "Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)". Over 175 stones with petroglyphs were meticulously documented, resulting in the identification of nearly 400 distinct motifs. Each rock was assigned a unique ID number and GPS coordinate, enabling precise tracking of the site's geography. In a single day, an impressive array of visual data was collected: over 25,455 terrestrial photographs, 5,244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 pinpoint GPS points accurate to within one centimeter. This extensive dataset was captured using Reality Capture technology in conjunction with Substance Painter software.
