Likely Neolithic 5th-4th Millennium BCE [Fossati 2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)].\nKhatm Al Melaha is a breathtaking archaeological site situated on the coast of the Oman Sea near Kalba in Sharjah, UAE. It boasts one of the largest rock art collections in the UAE. The site also features stone houses, a shell midden, stone tombs and other structures that indicate human occupations spanned from at least the early Holocene to the 19th century.\nA remarkable 175 stones with petroglyphs were meticulously documented and almost 400 unique motifs were identified. Each rock bearing a glyph was assigned an ID number and GPS coordinate. In a single day, a staggering total of 25455 terrestrial photographs, 5244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 precise GPS points (+/- 1cm) were captured.\nAll the data was meticulously processed using Reality Capture and Substance Painter technology.
