[Fossati 2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)].\nKhatm Al Melaha shines as a spectacular archaeological site on the coast of the Oman Sea near Kalba in Sharjah, UAE. This site boasts one of the largest rock art collections in the UAE, with a rich history dating back to at least the early Holocene and extending into the 19th century.\nA thorough documentation process yielded over 175 stones adorned with petroglyphs, along with close to 400 distinct motifs identified throughout. Each rock with a glyph was assigned an ID number and GPS coordinate for easy reference. In one day, a team managed to capture 25455 terrestrial photographs, 5244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 precise GPS points (+/- 1cm) using advanced technology.\nAll the data was skillfully processed in Reality Capture, further enhanced with Substance Painter.
