Human: Natural Version, Petroglyph C18 Khatm Al Melaha, Kalba, Sharjah. Two Ibex, one Syrian Wild Ass. Possibly Created by Ancient Cultures Dating Back to Neolithic or Earlier Times. [Fossati 2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)]. Khatm Al Melaha is a Significant Archaeological Site Located on the Coast of the Oman Sea near Kalba in Sharjah, UAE. It Boasts One of the Largest Collections of Rock Art in the UAE. Over 175 Stones Bearing Petroglyphs Were Carefully Documented and Close to 400 Distinct Motifs Were Successfully Identified. Each Individual Rock Featuring a Glyph Was Assigned a Unique ID Number and a Precise GPS Coordinate. In a Single Day, an Impressive Total of 25455 Terrestrial Photographs, 5244 Drone Photographs, 44 Drone Videos, and 182 Accurate GPS Points (+/- 1cm) Were Captured. The Petroglyphs Were Thoroughly Analyzed Using Advanced Techniques Including Radiance Scaling in Meshlab, Materials Lighting in Substance Painter, and Adjusting Conditions in Sketchfab. Some Elusive Carvings Became Visible Only When Employing These Sophisticated Methods. Drawings Were Made Possible Only When a Clear Line Could Be Identified Using One of These Proven Techniques.
