Peterbilt-ish RC truck 1:10 scale

2019-03-11: Pytherion makes an exciting addition, a wrecker setup for this type of truck:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3481245\r\nIt should be possible to modify it to the scale of my truck when its done.\r\n\r\n2019-03-10: I printed the parts and found the axle housings are not correct. So I removed those files and I will reload them when done. Sorry! Next time I'll upload after making them\r\n\r\n2019-03-09: I added a lot of rear axle and suspension parts for those axles. The axles are a remix of Mr. Crankyface's rear axle and diff. Actually, I just widened his axle to 140 mm and made a double version which can drive the second of the rear axles. I will also lengthen and change the drive shafts from diff to wheel and added a wheel hub to them. The required bearings are 6700ZZ. The diff pin is 18x4 mm metal, I cut two pieces from a 4mm nail. I print almost everything at 0.2 mm, but the finer suspension parts and the gears I chose to print at 0.1 mm layer height. I printed the four drive shafts on a raft.\r\n\r\n2019-02-16: I've updated the grille. I found a Peterbilt model on GrabCAD and although I cannot modify it in the software I use, I made dxf views of it to base my model on. On the pictures you still see the prototype, the STL has slightly better mountings of the lights. On the pictures it's a bit too flimsy. This design also lets a lot of air in, so the electronics that will be mounted under the hood will have some ventilation.\r\n\r\n2019-02-10:This is the first part of a long process, I am aiming to make an RC Truck 1:10 scale, with a trailer onto which I can put my 1:10 scale touring cars. I have no idea where and when this will come to an end. But the process itself is very nice.\r\n\r\nThis grille is the first part and I already printed it. Not because I think it is final, but because it will serve as an inspiration sitting on my desk.\r\n\r\nPlease feel free to comment positively. Please bear in mind this will not be a scale model, I just look at photos of the Peterbilt 359 and make what I like.\r\n\r\nI would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Crankyface for posting all his work on his RC trucks. His work is a great inspiration and I am sure I will use some drive train parts he designed in this project, either modified or unmodified.
