The draft of this grand palace was created by renowned architect Peter Joseph Krahe in 1792. It was carefully crafted after an intricate front plan, specifically designed to capture the essence of its inspiration. The original plan, showcased at the Städtisches Museum Braunschweig, is a testament to Krahe's exceptional skill and attention to detail. All credit for this remarkable work goes to the museum, whose generosity allowed us to share it with you here. For the façade, I drew inspiration from the classic color scheme of the Wangenheim Palais in Hannover. This decision was driven by the fact that both buildings are quintessential examples of Classicist architecture and share a striking similarity. As such, it seemed only fitting to incorporate these iconic colors into our palace design. This majestic structure serves as the generic Governor's palace within the Empire Total War mod Imperial Splendour. The in-game model proudly showcases the result of our meticulous crafting process, bringing this regal residence to life in breathtaking detail.
