This project is the result of a collaborative effort between Pete Klemm and myself. Our innovative design enables seamless integration with existing bottle lights or brand-new installations, thanks to its versatility and adaptability to various printing methods and resources available. Key components like the battery box and solar panel are independently detachable, ensuring optimal placement and arrangement. Furthermore, this system can be mounted to a range of roofs or structures in numerous ways, dependent on available options and requirements. Notably, the solar panel's angle is adjustable for maximum effectiveness and to optimize sunlight absorption. A critical aspect of our design involves ensuring maximum cooling for the solar panel by exposing it to air. This significantly reduces heat transfer to the batteries and electronic components within. Electrical connections necessitate sealing with silicone or a comparable sealant to prevent water damage or moisture accumulation.
