Pet transport cage hinge / door knob

I designed a replica of our dog transport cage's knobs after they were badly chewed up. Note: I warmed the replica with a heatgun to give it more flexibility before inserting. I plan to print the thing sideways, which will eliminate the need for heating, but supports will be required and some cleanup by file may also be necessary. UPDATE: Printing the part leaver up while printing it sideways worked out well - this way the part is stronger and can flex without breaking.
