This is an innovative pet gate extension and locator. It's precisely designed to fit snugly on a 5" wall section while offering a few extra inches of width for added stability. WARNING: Use at your own risk and discretion. This device was specifically created for pet gates only, and it's intended for use on a single floor. I strongly advise against using this product on gates that block stairs or other hazardous areas. No warranties are provided whatsoever! UPDATE 24Feb2017: A second file has been added to the repository, featuring a wall locator that performs the location function without the extension. Print Settings: Printer: Reach 3D Rafts: Not required Supports: None needed Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% or higher Important Details: The design incorporates a substantial internal rib within the center cylinder, providing sufficient compression strength to secure the pet gate in place. Design Process: This device was created using Onshape software. The CAD file is publicly available in the repository; simply search for "pet gate extension" to locate it. If needed, I can provide a STEP file as well.
