This is a replacement battery door for the HiTec Pet MS-5 Microsonic Dog Collar transmitter found at hitecpet.com/ms5-pet-collar.html. It's specifically designed for the transmitter attached to a basic collar, opening an electronic door that secures the battery in place. Our dog's transmitter must have gotten caught on something and partially ripped from its collar. The battery door serves as both the attachment point to the collar and a protective cover. However, after getting damaged, the thin plastic door developed a significant crack and lost its loops for securing the collar. Two versions were created: version 1 features a single loop compatible with the original, thin collar, while version 2 has two pairs of loops that allow you to secure it using a zip-tie around your dog's own collar. Please note that this replacement cover does not provide waterproof protection. If your dog is an avid swimmer, you may need to remove the silicone seal from the old cover or create a custom gasket to ensure water resistance.
