I created a custom cast for a lady's dog after he lost use of his rear legs due to paralysis. The goal was to position his feet correctly in the wheelchair while ensuring normal blood flow, as opposed to hanging his legs limp. Taking on this project allowed me to hone my CAD skills and I learned a significant amount from designing it. To accommodate padding, I made the cast slightly larger than necessary. Please note that I am not a licensed veterinarian or medical professional. This is not intended for pets with broken legs; instead, they should receive attention from a trained expert.
