Pet Bottle pulling machiine - dual core filament mix

The best way to remove the residue from the PET bottle, is by heating up the outer label with a hairdryer (not too much to melt the bottle though), the label will remove easily. To clear the residue, take any produce containing D-limonene (orange peel juice), spray it on the glue residue and rub it off. Saw this from the guy who made the recreator pet bottle machine, he uses Pure Citrus Spray Air Freshener, Orange. D-limonene can liquify styrene (foam packaging) too, to be uses as bed adhesion glue or make ABS slur for bed glue as well. 06/12/22 Add a new Gcode of what Im using, the speed of the inner filament is set to 150. The worm turns around 43-44 rpm. I took measurements from a digital tach, instead of doing the math. Will be doing some sort of planetary gear reduction with a stepper motor in a future update. My drill method is working fine, now that I have a way to measure the rpm's. It is consistent, at least until the battery dies and all hell breaks loose. Time it takes to pull for a single pet 2 liter bottle is about 35 minutes. I'm also working on a second version, Same worm gear design, but just a little better. /-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ This is a PET bottle filament machine maker. I used a worm gear instead, and a drill to turn it. i would like to use a stepper motor, have yet to to make a gear reduction though. This setup is different from other PET bottle pulling machines. It also feeds 1.75mm filament into the center of the PET filament to get compound type of filament that utilizes the strengths of both type of material. ABS and PETG mixes well with PET, so it will get better layer adhesion than with PET alone. It's also critical to use a volcano hotend, with an inner diameter of the size of the filament, so it blend well before it comes out of the nozzle. The temp is set low to 160C, so it doesn't melt the inner filament. I've included the gcode, but it will need to be tuned to the pulling speed. I'm only using a drill for the pulling, and the gcode is used for the extruder for the inner filament feed rate. I will add a stepper motor on the worm gear in a future update. The nozzle is sized to 2.5-2.6mm. the filament strip is around 13-14mm, 0.30mm thickness. The volcano nozzle will need 2.5-2.6mm inside diameter so the filament can mix well, i think 3mm inner diameter nozzle should be fine as well. The print temp is 285C, depends on how good the inner filament is at layer adhesion, so it can be lower if that's the case. ABS mixes really good with PET. The PET will also help with the warp issues associated with printing ABS, and it should make it stronger as well. That's it. I don't really have instructions or a bill of materials on how to put it together. So you'll need to figure it out yourself.
