This customized case is made specifically for my sunglasses. If you'd like me to alter the design for your glasses, simply send me a message. Post-Printing Get your printer ready now. I applied hairspray to the print bed to ensure the parts stuck in place, unfortunately it came loose anyway. I printed it again this time taping the borders the printer creates to the build plate, which did the trick. Alternatively, putting glue on your print bed can also work. How I Designed This Design process details. I was assigned to create a spectacle case for personalized spectacles from the brand ALO. The "A" in their logo was going to be the main feature in the case. The colors of the case will match the colors of the glasses exactly. To make a cool opening and closing feel, I designed two holes for magnets. Standards The assignment was to see how packaging influences buyers. To experience this firsthand, we had to design our own packaging. Materials Needed Things I used in my project. - PLA plastic (Any plastic will work as long as you get the right shape) -The metal where the wick of a candle is held, which can attract magnets and is very thin - just what I needed. -Two strong 4 mm wide magnets. -Two hinges -Spray paint to get the hinges the color you want Duration of Lesson Fourteen days
