Personalized Maker Buttons
thingiverse
I created custom maker buttons for my coworkers to use at our Pop-Up Makerspace event, each one featuring something that's personally meaningful to the individual. For a generic version, you can take the medium gear STL file and print it at 75% in another color, then place it in the upper left corner instead of the items I used. To assemble them, I hot-glued all the pieces together and added a safety pin to the back for easy attachment. I employed oil-based paint markers to add the word "maker" and draw Hello Kitty's features. Here are the links to the STL files I used to make them unique: Hello Kitty - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:943523 Open book - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:975039 Bicycle - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:884090 Cat - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:489281
