One of the challenges health care providers are experiencing across the nation is a shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks. These devices are essential to keeping people safe during this crisis. > This mask design is NOT a replacement for N95 respirators. This is a modification of the reusable and freely available 3D part files released by La Factoría 3D in Spain. The main difference between this design and the original is the addition of clips to create an improved attachment of the filter cover and the mask. Additionally, this mask has a modified pocket for the inclusion of a teardrop shaped N95 Filter, see suggestions for Filter options below. Our PDF for Mask Instructions and the .STL files can be found at: http://www.resawear.com/masks These model files have not been approved by any regulatory agency. Use it at your own risk. The recommended measures to protect yourself from infection with the coronavirus COVID-19 are the following: • Stay home and avoid contact with other people• Avoid touching your face with your hands• Wash your hands very often Note: This model only includes the mask structure (2 pieces) but does not include the required filter to effectively block the spread of the virus. Also, additional isolation measures could be required to properly fit the face without air gaps. Please check the comments for more information shared by other users about the types of filters that could apply to a mask with these characteristics. Again we remind you to use these models at your own risk.
