A 12-foot tall drop tower model simulates real-life ride experiences using a MATLAB 1-D dynamic particle model, comparing the results with ASTM F24 Eyes Down (+Gz) & Eyes Up (-Gz) limitations. The control system uses Arduino Environment, Allen Bradley 809T Push Button/Switch Array, and various sensors to replicate industry standards. Initial fatigue analysis shows carriage shaft screws' lifetime surpasses infinite life, using AISI 4043 steel for alloy steel approximation. Deflection analysis confirms pulley and transmission shafts adhere to recommended Shigley design regimes.
