Personal Monitor (and) Fan Stand - PMFS

It's sweltering in Germany. I've got a U-shaped aluminum sheet on my desk to elevate my LCD to a comfortable level. By chance, the gap is 249 millimeters. Plenty of room for three old 80 mm PC fans. I fabricated an adjustable mount and connected the fans in parallel to a cheap 12 V PWM speed controller that gets its power from a cheap AC/DC LED Driver with 8 Watts. To prevent resonances, the fan mounts are attached to the aluminum stand with 3.1 x 9 x 1 mm washers. The PWM speed controller I'm using is available at Amazon or eBay for anywhere between 2.70 euros and 10.00 euros. Please search for "DC 1.8V 3V 5V 6V 12V 2A 30W PWM".
