Personal Hover Craft. Project started as a Senior Project for an Engineering Technology class at a university inspired by Dr. Bill Clapp. Professor Clapp asked me to design the 1st prototype that was fabricated and tested. Several hundred pounds of cargo was floated around the parking lot with a 7 hp Briggs and Stratton motor. Professor Clapp retired and funding for continued development was not available. This model is dedicated to Professor Clapp and hope that he is having a good life in retirement.
