For my new apartment bedroom, I chose to create and construct my own desk due to a peculiar space issue between two walls; a 109-degree angled tabletop was unavailable at Ikea. Moreover, crafting furniture is enjoyable for me. The desk's unique design includes press fit slotted shelves and dowel joints for its top.
