Perseverance, Motorized

I've had plenty of requests for the motorized version of the hand-cranked Perseverance model, so here it is: Perseverance, Motorized. It makes a great bookend, and I get asked often where I bought it. I've also printed one with glow-in-the-dark filament for the torso, head, arms, legs, etc., and it looks good in the dark, even if it's somewhat eerie. The original Perseverance model has been running non-stop for over three months; it's quiet and attention-grabbing. Check out the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbmPax3fRTc&feature=gp-n-y&google_comment_id=z12yglrqmqzdhbwy104cepe4dtfstlyohrk0k&noredirect=1. The main differences between Perseverance and Perseverance, Motorized are the use of "Base Motorized.stl" instead of "Base.stl", the addition of "Gear Motor.stl", and the removal of "Axle Gear Idler Wheel.stl" and "Knob.stl". These are replaced by printing an additional "Axle Gear Idler End.stl". You'll also need a motor, coaxial power jack, and power supply. There are many parts to print, but all are easy to do. If you have Perseverance already, just print on and build Perseverance, Motorized! UPDATE: I've updated "Base Motorized.stl" with the correct tenon. I designed this using my own software and Sketchup 8, and printed it in PLA on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using Makerware 2.3.3.42.
