She Duofo's sculpture is one of two runners that make up a group called "Never Stopping." The other runner in the set is titled Perpetual Pace Man and has been uploaded to MyMiniFactory as well. This bronze sculpture was created as a gift to commemorate the Xiamen marathon, with Jacques Rogge, IOC president, expressing his gratitude for the donation in a letter to Zhang Changping, the mayor of Xiamen. "It is with pleasure that the International Olympic Committee accepts the honor of receiving two statues from the group titled 'Never Stopping,'" he wrote. "Your kind donation is greatly appreciated." The statues are approximately 2 meters tall and made of bronze. They will be delivered to Lausanne on March 25, which coincides with the start of the fourth international Xiamen marathon. The unveiling ceremony for the statues will take place on April 24 at the Olympic Museum. She Duofu, a sculptor from the Xiamen Institute of Art and Design, created this piece as a way to depict the Olympic spirit of perseverance in pursuit of success.
