This is just an idea, the concept being that when fluid is poured into the funnel, pressure pushes it through the tube back into the funnel, starting the process again. Perpetual motion is theoretically possible but powering something with it won't work because friction will eventually stop the perpetual motion. This particular perpetual motion concept doesn't work for a different reason - gravity pulls the fluid down. Instead of pouring out the other end, it overflows where the funnel is. It's similar to when you're pouring coffee and someone suddenly walks in, causing your cup to overflow and burning your hand. The same thing happens with Richmac's featured perpetual wheel due to gravity pulling down on the balls, preventing them from turning. According to the Law of Conservation of Mass, matter can be transformed into another form, mixtures separated or created, and pure substances decomposed, but the total amount of mass remains constant. Energy has mass - a fact that might come as a surprise to some. You can't truly create or delete mass; it will either come from somewhere or go somewhere. As someone much smarter than me once said, "You can't get something from nothing or make something out of nothing."
