Perpetual Flip Calendar (W/ Customizable Font)

This is a perpetual flip calendar that changes the date every time you rotate the middle portion.

Video of it in motion:
https://youtu.be/0Yg1Q\_Kf8bQ

The only place that might need supports are the openings in the box, but if your printer is dial in with bridging then its not needed.

The date blocks I printed with 2 filament changes during the middle leaving the numbers a different color than the background.

The decoration I kept as a separate piece in case someone didn't want that in their print or they want to design their own. Since this calendar was originally designed during the 20's I decided to make my decoration with Art Deco inspiration.

If anyone would like to design their own blocks the are 45mm x 60mm x 3mm (L x W x H)
Or use the customizer
If you want to select a font not listed select Manual and then enter an available font from
https://fonts.google.com/

The font used in the stl's uploaded is not available on the google fonts website

Support me on Patreon:

Print instructions

Licence: Creative Commons - Attribution Category: Office Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK3

Resolution: Any

Infill: Any

Notes:

You will print 2 nuts and 2 optional decorations, everything else is 1 of each.

Post-Printing

Assembly

The video below demonstrates assembly.

When putting it all together make sure you pay attention to how you insert the date blocks.
1,3,5,7,9,11,13, 15 are on the bottom with the numbers mentioned facing the opening,
For the top stack 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 then flip it upside down so you see 29 then place those in the top.

After that you screw one nut onto the roller, slide that through the opening in the box add the lid and screw on the second nut.
Then you just place the whole thing onto the base and flip until the correct date.
