Perpetual Desk Calendar with automatic height alignment function
prusaprinters
A typical perpetual calendar is twice as wide as the display size. Alternatively, you need to align each date one by one. Some calendars do not allow you to view short months. This calendar has a function to automatically adjust the height of each vertical plate. The size of this calendar (100% size) is 164mm x 178mm. It is possible to scale up or down if your printer is capable and sufficiently precise. My printed example is 80% scale (in width and height. Depth (thickness) is not scaled.) I used "Pause at height" function to switch materials during 3D print to give different color to characters. Base plate of Vertical inserts have 3mm thickness so you should switch material 3.4mm or around. Thickness of the base of front panel is 1.4mm. Details Each vertical insert has hooks on both sides. The left hook of "1" plate is lower than the others to align the plates at left properly. (Current 3D data is slightly modified from the image above. Each corner of the plates is now chamfered for smooth insertion.) To give a different color to the characters, I used the function named "Pause at height" of Cura software to change the material during 3D print. You can store unused plates on the back of the calendar. You need glue to assemble. Category: Office
