The European Honey Buzzard, a bird species with the scientific name Pernis apivorus, was first classified by Linnaeus in 1798. It is commonly known as the Vesper Flycatcher or the European Honey Buzzard. On September 17, 2005, the MZB (Museo de Zoología de Barcelona) cataloged a specimen with the number 2005-0917. The bird's chest measurement, from sternum to sternum, is an impressive 63.6 millimeters in depth and 38.6 millimeters in width. The specimen was found in Sort, Pallars Sobirà, Lleida, Spain on March 16, 2004.
