A pearl and amber pendant discovered in a sarcophagus on Rue Gambetta in Mâcon, France, in 2011 measures 2.7 cm tall. It originates from the characteristic jewelry of the Eastern Germans, specifically from the region of Germany and Poland. The pendant dates back to the end of the 4th century to the beginning of the 5th century. Excavated by GAM-INRAP archaeologists.
